Hi, there!
My name is Aman Lokhande. I am a self-taught UX Designer who uses a data-driven, user-centered design approach to solve business and user problems. I have six years of work experience, last working as a design system lead for the American Cancer Society.
Currently, I'm pursuing a master's in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at DePaul University. Before this, I completed my bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering.
I transitioned from developer to designer. This happened while I was working (as a developer) on a project with my teammates and noticed that many of us were having difficulty using enterprise software. I wanted to find a solution to fix our issues, and that's when I came across UX Design. That was the turning point in my life. Now, I'm passionate about making accessible, inclusive, and user-friendly experiences for everyone.
I'm always curious to know why humans think and interact in certain ways. I'm constantly growing and learning new things.
Outside of design, I like to
Play video games to escape reality
Spend countless hours building LEGO
Play pickleball to stay active
